Shot To The Heart

Today is the day my life changed. I fell deeply in love. With this camera equipment. Unfortunately, it belongs to the school through I-comm. Someday. Someday. This plus more will be mine. Muahahaha! Ahem. Anyway, I took the photos for our school's "Extravadance" dance show. It was so much fun to shoot! It was my first time really using this camera (Canon 1D Mark II), and my first time using this incredible lens (Canon L series 70-200 f/2.8). After this, I know I can never be satisfied with my "little" Rebel forever.

  1. Aaaahhhhh, little grasshopper. You have discovered the light. You will find the way. Canonites are keepers of Light. This is why the L series is called 'L'.

  2. My mentor always raved about her 70-200. So i've always looked at getting a similar one. I've decided this is the year I finally get real about replacing my camera body though. Why did we need to pick such an expensive hobby/love?

  3. You better re-read Pres. Monson's conference talk and be happy with what you have. Cameras don't grow on trees, that I know of. You do marvelous with your equipment. How do you improve on perfection!!!

  4. Funny you mention it, I was actually studying that talk again just a couple days ago. I am very happy with what I have. You are very sweet, but I am very far from perfection. I enjoy learning though!
