Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day! I made my family's traditional St. Patrick's Day dinner tonight for Stewart and me while he was at work. I loved it! It was simple to make, but it was fun to feed him and to share a new tradition. I couldn't believe it was his first time eating corned beef! Did you know "Kelly" means Celtic Warrior Maiden? My parents didn't  know that until I was already a feisty redhead.

  1. Stewart has lived a culturally deprived life! I have never eaten corned beef. My idea of St. Patrick's Day was to dye everything green. Royce was so happy I didn't have time last night to dye the potatoes green, and he's the one with Irish heritage.

  4. Yes I too have never had it, but I've always wondered what it tastes like. The cabbage part has never enticed me too badly though.

  5. I can't believe all of you guys have never had corned beef! Not even on a Ruben sandwich? You're all missing out! And Tiffany, cabbage is good! As long as it's covered in butter and salt. My family even puts a bit of red wine vinegar on it. Delicious! I'll post it on the blog if you want, but seriously, it is easier than scrambled eggs to make!
